Hyperion (“the App”) is an internal logistics and fleet-management application operated by Hyperion Logistics Inc. (“Hyperion Logistics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Ontario, California, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how we use it, and the choices available to authorized users of the App.

Hyperion is a private business tool intended solely for use by Hyperion Logistics and its authorized personnel (owners, dispatchers, and drivers). It is not a consumer product and is not offered to the general public.

Information We Handle

The App handles the following categories of information:

Operational data — loads, routes, pickup and delivery details, bills of lading (BOLs), purchase orders, driver assignments, timeclock entries, and related dispatch records.
User account data — the names and login credentials of authorized users, and the role assigned to each user.
Data from connected services — with your authorization, the App connects to third-party services to support our operations, including:
- QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — to create and synchronize customer invoices.
- Samsara — to display vehicle location, hours-of-service, and status information for our fleet.

How We Use QuickBooks Online Data

When you connect the App to QuickBooks Online, we access your customer list, invoices, and related accounting records for the connected company. We use this access solely to:

create and update customer invoices for completed loads,
read invoice payment status, and
match invoices to the correct customer and load.

We do not use QuickBooks (Intuit) data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with unrelated third parties. Our access is limited to what is necessary to perform the invoicing functions described above.

How We Use Other Information

We use the information the App handles to operate our trucking business — including dispatching and tracking loads, assigning drivers, recording hours worked, generating invoices, and meeting recordkeeping and compliance obligations.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your information. Information is shared only:

with the third-party service providers that power the App (for example, Intuit/QuickBooks Online, Samsara, and our hosting provider, Cloudflare), as needed to provide their services;
when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; or
to protect the rights, safety, or property of Hyperion Logistics, our personnel, or others.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. Connections are made over encrypted (HTTPS) channels, sensitive credentials such as API keys and access tokens are stored in encrypted form, and access to the App is limited to authorized users based on their assigned role.

Data Retention

We retain operational and accounting information for as long as needed to run our business and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or archived in accordance with our internal practices.

Your Choices

Authorized users may request corrections to their account information. An administrator can disconnect the App from QuickBooks Online at any time from the App’s Settings, which revokes the App’s access to the connected QuickBooks company. You may also revoke the App’s access from within your Intuit account.

Children’s Privacy

The App is a business tool intended for authorized adult users and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
